Open New Tab Here
Open New Tab Here is a useful Chrome add-on developed by Gilmore Davidson. This add-on provides a shortcut to open a new tab next to the current one, making it easier to organize your tabs.
By default, Chrome opens new tabs at the end of the tab row, which may not always be convenient. With Open New Tab Here, you can quickly open a new tab to the right of the tab you are currently viewing.
You have two options for opening a new tab: you can either use the button located to the right of the address bar, or you can use a configurable keyboard shortcut. The default keyboard shortcut is Alt + T for Windows and Linux, and Ctrl + T for macOS.
Additionally, you can open the new tab in the background without switching to it right away. This can be done by using the shortcut Alt + Shift + T for Windows and Linux, or Ctrl + Shift + T for macOS.
If you prefer different shortcuts, you can easily customize them by visiting chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
